Traditional Funeral Burial
A funeral burial is the oldest and most traditional form of funeral in the UK, and Suffolk has many cemeteries and churchyards. Burial offers a lasting memorial and place to go and visit, tend and remember. Local authority cemeteries and churchyards have different rules on burial and headstones.
Woodland Funeral Burial
Woodland burials are a reflection of being part of nature. Instead of a headstone, a tree is usually planted over the grave. These are normally informal and family orientated burial services.
A woodland burial ground provides a natural alternative to a traditional cemetery or churchyard with the burial ground being managed with the environment in mind. The use of biodegradable, non-rainforest coffins or simple shrouds ensure that the existing environment is protected.
The natural burial ground has the additional benefit of being non-denominational. All faiths are welcome, as well as those wishing for a non-religious funeral burial ceremony.
Religious & Non-Religious Funeral Burial
We pride ourselves on being able to provide a great knowledge and understanding of both religious beliefs and non-religious beliefs. We work with all of Suffolk’s pastors, vicars and priests and we are experienced in what different religious beliefs require from us.
We have a very good network of the finest non-religious ministers and celebrants who can tailor a funeral service to suit and reflect the life of an individual. You may already have a family minister in mind – this is fine and a nice personal touch; simply let us know when arranging a burial service.
We’re here to help you celebrate life and understand death
